Dr. Frederick Tappan is more than a candidate; he is a father, a longtime pastor at Eureka Truevine Baptist Church, and a devoted advocate for the youth of Memphis. Running as an Independent for School Board District 6, Dr. Tappan believes that the path to a better Memphis begins by restoring the foundation of the family and the safety of our classrooms. His mission is to bridge the gap between our schools and our neighborhoods, ensuring that every child is seen, every teacher is supported, and every parent has a seat at the table.
