Founded in 1902, Hutchison is an independent, college-preparatory school in Memphis for girls 2-years-old through 12th grade. Our all-girl environment and project-based learning approach set us apart and enable our girls to excel in academics, discover their passions, and become leaders for the next generation.

Within a structured and nurturing environment, Hutchison encourages each student to develop a lifelong joy of learning, to sharpen her intellectual curiosity, to cultivate artistic expression, and to strive for physical well-being.

A School for Girls

NOT JUST A SCHOOL WITHOUT BOYS

A Hutchison girl is confident, curious, and adventurous. Our nurturing environment empowers each girl to think for herself and pursue interests that will shape her future. Hutchison builds confident young women prepared to thrive in a complex, ever-changing world. If she can imagine it, she can do it.

This is what it means to be Hutchison STRONG.
